Carl was the fifth child of
Carl Bacon Dysart and
Ruth Irene Ackley. His older siblings were (living), Irene, Genevieve and Denton; later followed (living). "Junior" was born on 8 November 1921 in College Place, Walla Walla, Washington and was raised there.
On 2 October 1941, Carl married
Alice "Dorothea" Keen in Walla Walla. They had two sons and two daughters and lived in Walla Walla all their lives.
Carl worked for Pacific Power and Light for most of his adult life. He loved fishing and owned a boat and cabin in Long Beach, Washington.
Carl passed away on 25 November 1987 in Walla Walla, and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla.
